Argentine Township Community


Property Search Argentine Township is located in southeast Michigan, in the most southwesterly corner of Genesee County. It was established in 1836 and is approximately 15 miles southwest of the city of Flint. There are several major transportation routes through the township – Sliver Lake Road to US-23 and I-75 and routes to I-69, M-59 and i-96 freeways.


Argentine Township dedicates approximately 36 acres to recreation activity and over 5000 to beautiful untouched forest and wetlands. The Shiawassee River Water Trail is approximately 7 miles long offers canoe and kayak recreation.


The Linden Community Schools District covers a large are of over six townships: Gaines, Mundy, Fenton, Argentine, Deerfield, and Tyrone. There are four public schools located in Argentine Township all of which are part of Linden Community Schools. The schools main campus is an extensive complex that includes the high school, middle school. One elementary school, the transportation facility and the administrative offices.
